Need a hug from your child?

Constraint Induced Movement Therapy and Saebo dynamic hand splints can get your child’s arm and hand moving. Children who have suffered a brain injury can benefit from re-learning correct arm and hand movement patterns. Children avoid using the affected hand and learn to compensate with the unaffected hand. Avoidance and compensation is a normal response for children of all ages. It’s often a learned response in young children and a response triggered by embarrassment in the teen years.

Our CIMT and Saebo therapist uses proven techniques to help your child learn to eat, reach, and play with the affected arm and hand – and have fun doing it! Teens benefit from our mentoring program which pairs the teen with another client close to the same age that has been through the program (availability varies).

Caregivers: secrets to success

Our CIMT program teaches you how to best assist your loved one. During therapy, there’s time for you to relax and let the therapist do the work.  You deserve it!
